Based on what the project requires, the illustration can be developed into a raster style, which gives a lot of detail and texture, or a vector style, which is great for clean and scalable designs.

  • Raster illustrations are made of pixels, giving them rich detail and texture, perfect for realistic art or digital paintings. However, they can lose quality when scaled up. Common formats include JPEG and PNG.

  • Vector illustrations are made of paths, making them sharp and infinitely scalable without losing quality. They’re ideal for clean, bold designs like logos and icons. Common formats include SVG and AI.
